Getting Started with Australian Options
Here are a series of webinars and documents perfectly suited to anyone new or interested in learning more about options trading. First one must understand the basic principles and definitions of options before moving onto strategies and more complex elements. These pages are a great place to start!
Bullish Directional Option Strategies
We have a large range of bullish strategies available to the trader and investor. Strategy selection should consider such elements as risk tollerance, capital requirements and leverage.
It is important to note, many bullish directional strategies, only require an underlying to remain at or above a certain level, however the strike selection will determine whether the strategy falls under a bullish or neutral outlook.

Bearish Directional Option Strategies
Allow option traders to derive profit from decreases in the underlying asset. This can be seperated into moderately bearish and bearish. Moderately bearish means that profit can be made from decreases in the stock price up to a certain limit. Bearish means the lower the stock price falls, the higher the profit

Multidirectional Option Strategies
Allow the investor to profit from large either bullish or bearish moves.

Neutral Option Strategies
Facilitate profit from low volatility in the underlying asset. This means that the closer the stock stays to the target price the more profit that will be made.
